Darrin Mangiacarne, DO

Dr. Darrin Mangiacarne graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his family medicine residency at St. Luke’s Hospital in Allentown, PA. He then became the second addiction medicine fellow at Geisinger Health System. He received his master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Southern Mississippi. He is a Certified Physician Executive and a Medical Review Officer. Dr. Mangiacarne is board certified in family medicine and addiction medicine. He is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Society of Addiction Medicine.

Dr. Mangiacarne has been a member of the Indiana Governor’s Task Force on Addiction and co-chaired the Indiana Attorney General’s Task Force on substance abuse. Dr. Mangiacarne is the President of the Indiana Society of Addiction Medicine. He currently serves as the Regional Medical Director for Spero Health, overseeing their medication assisted treatment programming across 32 locations and four states.

The mission of the American Osteopathic Academy of Addiction Medicine is to improve the health of individuals and families burdened with the disease of addiction.
