Margot Waitz, DO, FAOAAM

AOAAM Past Presidents Council

Margot Waitz, D.O., is a graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She received her bachelor's degree in biology from Juniata College, Huntingdon, Pa., and her master's degree in biology from Drexel University, Philadelphia, Pa. She completed a residency in family medicine at the Osteopathic Medical Center of Philadelphia and her fellowship in adolescent and young-adult Medicine at Christiana Care. 

Dr. Waitz serves as Christiana Care's director of the Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine Services. Her clinical specialty is in the treatment of patients with eating disorders. She also is a clinical assistant professor at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Waitz is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, the Society for Adolescent Medicine and the Academy for Eating Disorders.
