I attended the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM) in Blacksburg, VA where I earned my Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. In medical school, I sat on the medical education and curriculum committee and worked to improve curriculum to better serve student needs. While in my 3rd and 4th year of medical school, I developed an interest in addiction medicine and started using the AOAAM’s education resources to better inform myself of the treatment opportunities available for my patients. I completed the PCSS half-and-half MAT waiver training in my 4th year of medical school and look forward to putting this to good use in the future.
I am currently a family medicine resident at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Hospital. My professional interests include full-spectrum family medicine, treating the LGBTQIA+ community, contraceptive counseling, HIV primary care, primary care psychiatry, and substance use disorders.
