Bio
I was born and raised in Pakistan, where I completed my early education before pursuing medical training in Lahore. I went on to graduate from the NYU Grossman School of Medicine in 2008 and completed my Internal Medicine residency at the same institution. I am currently completing fellowship in addiction medicine ay UC Irvine.I have been practicing as board certified in Internal Medicine, Obesity Medicine. I have passed my Addiction Medicine Board exam. Alongside my clinical work, I serve as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Western University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific, where I teach remotely. I currently practice in a hybrid model of Internal Medicine and Addiction Medicine in the outpatient setting, and I also supervise residents in a Family Medicine residency program.
